About Elite 6.0 Hybrid Flooring
Elite 6.0 is a rigid hybrid floor with an SPC core, a printed timber-look surface and a 0.55mm wear layer. At 6mm thick, including a 1.5mm underlay attached to each plank, it’s the slimmest of our hybrid flooring ranges. That makes it a good fit where floor height matters, such as renovations, apartments and rentals.
The planks are 1511 x 229mm and click together as a floating floor. Because it’s a hybrid, the core is built to cope with moisture, so Elite is a popular choice for kitchens and laundries. Compare it with our other hybrid ranges in the table below, or browse the colours first.

Why choose it
Elite 6.0 Features and Benefits
Here’s what Elite 6.0 gives you, and what to keep in mind.
A slim 6mm profile
Elite 6.0 is 6mm thick, including its attached underlay, so it keeps floor height down in renovations and apartments.
Attached underlay
A 1.5mm IXPE underlay is built into each plank. It adds comfort underfoot and helps with sound, and it saves a step on the job.
A waterproof core
The manufacturer describes Elite as waterproof, with a rigid SPC core that doesn’t swell like fibreboard. We still check the edges, wall gaps and subfloor for wet areas.
A tough surface
A 0.55mm wear layer with a UV coating helps the surface resist everyday scuffs and scratches.
Click-together installation
Elite is a floating floor, with planks that click together. It’s usually quicker and cleaner than gluing a floor down.
Easy to look after
Sweep or vacuum, then use a damp mop. Follow the care instructions we give you with your colour.

Questions we get asked
Elite 6.0 FAQs
Is Elite 6.0 waterproof?
The manufacturer describes Elite as waterproof, thanks to its rigid SPC core. The edges, the gap at the walls and the subfloor still matter, so ask us about the room you have in mind and we’ll check the specification and your site first.
How thick is Elite 6.0?
Elite 6.0 is 6mm thick, and that includes the 1.5mm underlay attached to the back of each plank. It’s our slimmest hybrid range, which helps where floor height matters.
Do I need underlay with Elite 6.0?
Each plank has an underlay attached, so most jobs don’t need a separate one. Some subfloors, such as a concrete slab, may need extra protection. We’ll advise when we check your site.
Can Elite 6.0 go over my existing floor?
Often, yes. It can be laid over many surfaces, including timber, tiles, plywood and concrete, provided they are clean, level, smooth and dry, without large cracks. We check the subfloor before we quote.
Is Elite 6.0 suitable for kitchens and laundries?
It’s a popular choice for both, because the core is built to cope with moisture. As with any floor, wipe up spills promptly. We check the specification and your site before we recommend it for a wet area.
Can I use Elite 6.0 in a commercial space?
Elite is suitable for interior areas of private homes and commercial spaces. The supplier’s warranty is shorter for commercial use, at 5 years compared with 25 years for residential. Tell us about your space and we’ll advise.
